HAMBURG HINT AT KUYT MOVE

Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt is probably heading towards Bundesliga side Hamburg after the Hamburg coach Thorsten Fink called him a ‘class’ footballer. In August 2006, Kuyt came to Liverpool for £9 million from Dutch club Feyenoord and he has another year in his contract with the English club, but rumors circulation that he may leave for Germany in the summer transfer window.

Thorsten Fink, who guided the Bundesliga club safely after a dreadful beginning of the league campaign, is a huge admirer of the Dutch international and he described the thirty-one year as a fighter. While speaking to Kicker, a German sports mag, he told that there is nothing extra requires to be told about the quality of Dirk Kuyt. Whether it is something they feel, they want to commit, they will see.

Fink’s statements follow the same sentiments from Frank Arnesen, club’s technical director, a few of weeks ago. While speaking to Bild, club official told that a footballer like Dirk Kuyt, who is in a nice shape till now, can include many thongs to any team. He is truly a team player with an attitude.

Previously, Dirk Kuyt’s agent denied the rumors of his transfer to Hamburg. His agent revealed that there have not been any negotiations with Arnesen or with anyone else from the German club.

On that occasion, though, Kuyt’s agent denied there had been any contact with the club. He cannot say the Dutch international would like to go to Bundesliga. Several clubs had some enquiries, but as of now, nothing is sure.

KUYT BACKS SUAREZ TO STAY

Liverpool winger Dirk Kuyt has said that striker Luis Suarez is extremely happy at the club, which has been marked by a return to form for the Uruguayan striker. Luis Suarez has been criticised in various quarters for the racial problem involving him and Manchester United defender Patrice Evra. He was subsequently found guilty of racial abuse against the French left back, and was banned for eight games. Since his return from the suspension, Luis Suarez has not always been the same player. He has found it difficult to find the back of the net on a consistent basis. However, after his impressive performance against Everton and the 11th goal of the season against Stoke city, Dirk Kuyt says that Luis Suarez is back to form.

This has been a difficult season for the Uruguayan, but he has now reaffirmed his commitment to Liverpool after he appeared to suggest that he may move in the summer to new pastures. One of the top destinations being rumoured was French club PSG. Luis Suarez was openly admitted his admiration for the French club, who are currently managed by former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti. It is thought that they would be willing to bid around £ 35 million in the summer, but the recent run of form has made Luis Suarez confirm his commitment to the club.

“I speak a lot with Luis Suarez and he has always been happy with the club, with the supporters and with his team-mates. Everyone was standing behind him during a difficult period for him here. I never had the feeling that he wasn’t anything but happy at Liverpool. He had a very difficult time with what happened to him but he has put all that right behind him,” Kuyt said ahead of the match with QPR on Wednesday night.

KUYT: BELLAMY IS UNBELIEVABLE

Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt has said that Craig Bellamy has become unbelievable for Liverpool in recent weeks. Craig Bellamy was signed on a free transfer from Manchester City in the summer, but few would have realised that he would have become the most important player at Liverpool as of now. Injuries to the likes of Steven Gerrard and the poor form of Andy Carroll has meant that Craig Bellamy has risen in prominence of late. Further, the suspension of Luis Suarez has meant that Craig Bellamy has been one of the main players at Liverpool this season, despite having a number of injury problems of his own.

The 31-year-old Dirk Kuyt has said that Craig Bellamy has been one of the best players at Liverpool this season and none would have believed that he would be of such an impact at Anfield. This is the second spell at Anfield for Craig Bellamy, and Dirk Kuyt has said that the Welshman has been even better than in his first spell. Craig Bellamy is coming to the end of his career, but still has not lost the goal threat. He still remains as one of the fastest players within the Liverpool squad. Hence, it is not surprising to know that he has scored nine goals in 23 matches for Liverpool.

“Craig has been unbelievable. He came late in August and we did not pay a transfer fee. He has been a brilliant signing for us and looks even better now than he did the first time he came here. It’s not very often you can say that about a player who plays for a club in two spells,” the 31-year-old told the LFC magazine. Dirk Kuyt was speaking on the occasion after having scored his 50th goal of his Liverpool career.
