Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt is probably heading towards Bundesliga side Hamburg after the Hamburg coach Thorsten Fink called him a ‘class’ footballer. In August 2006, Kuyt came to Liverpool for £9 million from Dutch club Feyenoord and he has another year in his contract with the English club, but rumors circulation that he may leave for Germany in the summer transfer window.
Thorsten Fink, who guided the Bundesliga club safely after a dreadful beginning of the league campaign, is a huge admirer of the Dutch international and he described the thirty-one year as a fighter. While speaking to Kicker, a German sports mag, he told that there is nothing extra requires to be told about the quality of Dirk Kuyt. Whether it is something they feel, they want to commit, they will see.
Fink’s statements follow the same sentiments from Frank Arnesen, club’s technical director, a few of weeks ago. While speaking to Bild, club official told that a footballer like Dirk Kuyt, who is in a nice shape till now, can include many thongs to any team. He is truly a team player with an attitude.
Previously, Dirk Kuyt’s agent denied the rumors of his transfer to Hamburg. His agent revealed that there have not been any negotiations with Arnesen or with anyone else from the German club.
On that occasion, though, Kuyt’s agent denied there had been any contact with the club. He cannot say the Dutch international would like to go to Bundesliga. Several clubs had some enquiries, but as of now, nothing is sure.
